My paintings explore the space between representation and abstraction.
I call them Soulscapes: where light, colour and memory create landscapes from within. 
Although rooted in the natural world, and inspired by my travels,  I have given myself permission to paint from the heart and let the work be shaped by feeling rather than seeing.
